When terrorists drove a failed car bomb into the departures entrance of the Glasgow Airport, a baggage handler on cigarette break rushed toward his destiny. Security cameras captured the swift kick Smeaton delivered to help subdue the driver, and it was hard to watch the video without giving a little cheer. Hard, too, not to wonder if we'd have the same guts under pressure. Here's hoping we never find out.
