The December 4 Democratic Debate
Their radio debate was substantive, informative, civil. You may not have listened, but Mark Halperin did, and here's his scorecard
John Edwards
Unlike the other candidates, did not waste a single answer. Good job of being conversational even on complicated topics, and of talking about the lives of working-class people. Did his level best to repeatedly contrast himself with Clinton on Iran, but never rattled her or made the distinctions clear to the ordinary listener.
