New Hampshire gave its heart to McCain instead of the eventual nominee George W. Bush in 2000, and made Bill Clinton the "comeback kid" in 1992. But will that history translate into fond nostalgia and, more importantly, votes? Or will the candidacies of McCain and Hillary Clinton instead seem, as the Boston Herald bluntly put it, so "yesterday?" Clinton advisers have counted on the former president's popularity on the stump to help their candidate. But sixteen years is a long time.
