Quantum Fuel Systems Technologies Worldwide Inc. of Los Angeles what it said was the very first plug-in electric hybrid vehicle. The company says the car can run on an all-electric mode for about 50 miles by throwing a paddle-shift on the steering column, reducing the emissions to zero. The four-door sports car will be on sales later this year in limited quantities.
