A Day in the Life / Let It Be

An umbrella scampering on human legs. A sick boy attended by a three-armed preacher. A tragic flying acrobat toting a magic guitar. It has to be Cirque du Soleil — and it has to be hilarious. Love is a successful stage show in Vegas, but as everyone knows, what happens in Vegas is cheesy, especially on TV. The Across the Universe-inspired Let It Be fares slightly better, but this is Grammy history in the wrong kind of way.
