David Hernandez

Papa Was a Rolling Stone
Six songs into 70s night and the guitarist finally gets to dust off the wah-wah pedal. While the band grooves, Hernandez sings cleanly and moves around the stage with authority. He also tells Papa's abandonment story with what appears to be actual emotion and comprehension. Easily the top performance of the night, and the judges tell him so.
