Brooke White

Every Breath You Take
Brooke stumbles with a false start, but she's charming enough that if anything, that probably helps her. Randy's absolutely right: the first third or so, with just Brooke and her piano, showcases the purity of her voice. But she should have fired the band this week: the insipid accompaniment that joins her on the bridge wafts the song off to the dentist's waiting room. The strong beginning should carry her through, though.
