You've Got a Friend
Hearing that Brooke had picked her musical godmother, Carole King, I expected a few more goosebumps than she delivered. (I think less is usually more with Brooke, and she would have been better off without the string backup.) Still, I agree with Randy and Simona good-enough cover that stayed closer to the soulful Tapestry version than the bland James Taylor most of us are used to. Too many weeks of just good enough could be trouble for Brooke, though.
