This is probably the kiss of death, but I actually thought Kristy was pretty good this week. Not a typo! Every week she's seemed detached from her songs; this time—and maybe it's the meta-narrative of fighting back against elimination—she persuasively delivers the lyrics about keeping on and doing it anyway and...well, whatever they're about, she made it seem inspirational.
