When You Believe

David A. is a savvy little elf—he knows that his path to victory is paved with vaguely inspirational anthems like this, and if it bores critics like me, he's perfectly happy to bore his way to the finals. Not an astonishing performance—his falsetto works nicely but he has trouble on the low notes—but contrary to the cornball lyrics, he doesn't have much to fear this week.
