You Must Love Me

Brooke knows this is live television, right? She delivers another of her trademark false starts, this time with a full orchestra backing her up, and never seems to completely recover. The question is whether her weaknesses—seeming tentative and vulnerable—came across not as flop sweat but as acting, thus working to her benefit. Hey, if Madonna can get credit for acting as Evita, why not Brooke?
