Imagine

The irony, of course, is that reproducing your most famous, widely praised Idol performance requires no imagination at all. (Or, in David A.'s melismatic delivery, no ima-ya-ya-a-a-a-gin-a-yay-a-a-a-tion.) But, let's face it: this is a pop singing contest, and pop singing is about giving people what they expect. I suspect Archuleta just won Idol doing exactly that, and that Idol will be very pleased with him.
