ME2 stands for "My Electronic Double" and has several components: it's a handheld toy that connects to your computer, and gives kids access to a virtual play space (me2universe.com), where their avatars run around freely, play strategic games, and interact with other avatars. Here's the catch: your online energy levels and purchasing power (to "buy" virtual items) depends on the amount of steps you've actually taken in real life. That handheld game-playing device? You might also call it a pedometer.
