PRO: His MLB-commissioned report exposed 89 steroid-abusing baseball players, including multiple Cy Young award-winner Roger Clemens. Now Democrats look to the one-time Northern Ireland negotiator to broker a peace between Obama and Clinton.
CON: Clemens isn't going down easy, filing a countersuit against chief accuser Brian McNamee, a former trainer, whose testimony comprised (too) much of Mitchell's case against The Rocket. And if Mitchell really is working behind the scenes to restore amity amongst the Dem factions, evidence of it has yet to be seen.
