From millions of blogs about nothing, we've selected the 25 best about somethingfrom politics and global affairs to shopping and sports. And, yes, we've got a few about nothing, too Tom McNichol
The Sartorialist
A blog that wears its passion on its sleeve and on its French cuff and plunging neckline. The Sartorialist is all about fashion as seen on the on the street. It's a daily repository of shared photos of ordinary people wearing kick-ass clothes, accompanied by sharp, sometimes stinging commentary. Subjects range from a colorfully dressed bicyclist in New Delhi to some guy wearing a cape. The brainchild of fashion and design veteran Scott Schuman, The Satorialist launched September 2005 as a kind of diary of well-dressed people walking the streets of New York. The blog quickly became well fashionable and Schuman now pens a monthly fashion column for GQ. What's true in glossy magazines is equally true on a well-done blog: pictures of total strangers clad in exotic and sometime ridiculous clothing never goes out of style.
Sample Sartorialist Post: (photo of woman in New Delhi) This young lady is as cool as any young lady I have ever met in Manhattan. The real genius behind this look is that she is very petite, (maybe) 5' 2" and yet her long dress actually real lengthens her entire frame. The sleevelessness is a huge factor in pulling this off.
