When architect Gardner Dailey built this famous Pacific beach club during the Depression, the idea was to create the feeling of being aboard a luxury steam liner. Now, with his elaborate renovation of the pool, deck and lobby, Peter Marino has re-created the same feeling by adhering to the club's original modern Scandinavian theme.
