Eclipse
A transportation revolution is upon us. Meet the Eclipse 500, the world's first very light jet (VLJ). It's fast (in October it broke the VLJ speed record), efficient (it burns a fraction of the amount of fuel of comparable jets) and cheap (just under $1.6 million). Since the delivery of the first Eclipse 500 last December, 50-plus have been certified, and more than 2,600 orders placed. Florida-based DayJet, a sort of airborne taxi company, has ordered more than 300 Eclipse 500s—a positive sign of what's to come. Now accessible to those who only dreamed of it before, private air travel may finally be the wave of the future.

Because summer isn't the only season for sunglasses, Roberto Cavalli's luxe new wraparound Eva shades are in limited edition for the winter cruise season. More eye-catching styles will hit stores soon when Tiffany & Co. and Balenciaga introduce their first-ever collections.
