YSL
With the redesign of the historic Yves Saint Laurent boutique on the Place Saint-Sulpice, the house kicks off a new look for its global network of 62 stores. This addresswhich was the inspiration for Rive Gauche, Saint Laurent's first line of ready-to-wearopened in 1979. Modern touches like concrete floors and industrial lighting give the space a lofty feel. Inspired by the original packaging of YSL's Opium fragrance, Pilati covered the walls in shiny red lacquera detail that is repeated on the shopping bags, shoe boxes and other packaging. Kate Betts
