#9. Anniversary Parties
This year has been a whirlwind of parties fêting milestones for some of the greatest fashion houses. Valentino celebrated his 45th anniversary in lavish style with a three-day extravaganza in Rome. Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein threw bashes of their own, Lauren celebrating his 40th year as a fashion force, and Klein marking the 25th anniversary of his underwear line. In Europe, John Galliano held a soirée at Versailles to mark the fashion label Christian Dior's 60th year, complete with a gospel choir and flamenco dancers.
