She is qualified to be president of the United States of America. She's easily qualified to be vice president of the United States of America. Quite frankly, it might have been a better pick than me. Biden's apparent diss to himself came less than a month after he was tapped for the job — and on the heels of a rough nomination fight in which many Clinton supporters thought their candidate had been robbed of the nomination by sexism from both the media and the Obama campaign. The head-scratching quote was just one of many (predictable) verbal blunders committed by Obama's running mate, which included telling a man in a wheelchair at a rally to stand up and flubbing history by saying FDR got on the television to talk to Americans when the stock market crashed in '29.
