Yes, the U.S. actually won a world championship in badminton, thanks to Bach, who became the first American to claim the title, with his partner Tony Gunawan, in men's doubles. Didn't know that? Then maybe you'll at least recognize the Vietnam-born Bach from his VitaminWater commercial, in which he and his new partner for Beijing, Bob Malaythong, act as, ahem, Chinese badminton players who get thrashed by American sports stars Brian Urlacher and David Ortiz.
