PRO: By demanding a three-summer commitment from All-Stars like LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony, Colangelo insured that the U.S. Olympic hoops squad will be a team, as opposed to the bronze-winning collection of egos that sulked through Athens.

CON: Where are the big guys on Colangelo's Olympic roster? Another bronze at the '06 World Championships shows that although Colangelo picked a disciplined crew, the U.S. still lags the world at its own game.
