PRO: Kansas became just the second school ever to win a men's basketball title and BCS bowl game in the same year. Over the past five years, Perkins has increased the athletic department budget from $24 million to $55 million.

CON: Kansas is spending $31 million to renovate its football facilities. What higher-ed purpose does that serve?
