PRO: The MLS is swimming in liquidity, the result of a pool of new investors and the sale of some of its young stars, including Jose Altidore, to European teams. New franchises are being added and intimate, soccer-only stadiums have vastly improved the fan experience.

CON: Next time someone says "Did you see that Galaxy game last night?" will be the first time.
