Exhibited every one of the public speaking skills he has honed since he went from being a politician to a super-activist. Relaxed, funny, and totally aware of how to work the stadium crowd, he found a very solid balance between building up Obama and running down Bush-McCain. Stuck to big issues and big themes, making his speech seem not just engaging but important. Reaffirmed his status as a leader who unites the Democratic Party: Bill Clinton's level of experience without the controversy.
