East or west, highbrow or low wherever you and your taste may roam this fall, TIME's arts critics have you covered
The Changeling
The hot couple on the red carpet at this year's Cannes Film Festival was Clangelina: director Clint Eastwood and Angelina Jolie, star of his fact-based drama set in 1928 Los Angeles. Jolie is a working mom whose nine-year-old son disappears. When "he" is returned months later, she's sure he's someone else and spends years trying to convince the authorities, who are either skeptical, lazy or crooked, to chase down leads to her boy's whereabouts.
