Imagine The Truman Show for dogs. The Disney folks must have, when they dreamed up this cartoon about a pooch who doesn't know that the life he lives is a TV program. John Travolta provides Bolt's very human voice. The addition of Disney TV's teen cash machine Miley Cyrus to the voice talent is just one indication that the project has undergone a makeover since it was called American Dog. John Lasseter, the Pixar whiz who's now also in charge of Disney's Burbank animators, supervised the changes. Here's hoping that Lasseter fixed Bolt without, you know, fixing Bolt.
