As Balki Bartokomous on the late 80's Odd Couple-lite sitcom Perfect Strangers, Pinchot made his name playing a ridiculously jolly and marginally intelligible pseudo-Greek immigrant living in Chicago — and played it well. Suffice it to say that a skit calling for him to impersonate astronomer Carl Sagan was a bit of a stretch.
