This hilarious and typically deadpan Christopher Guest comedy about dog show competitors was a huge hit thanks to five dysfunctional couples and their dogs, the most normal creatures in the film. The fake documentary follows the people and their pooches as they prepare and compete in the Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show. The Busy Bee, the aspiring ventriloquist, the budding relationship between a dog owner and her trainer — this is arguably Guest's best showing.
