How on earth did YouTube get by before Alaska governor Sarah Palin was tapped as the Republican vice-presidential candidate? Her public performances — and spoofs of those performances — have filled gigabytes of video space ever since. TIME surveys the cream of the crop
John Kerry, consider yourself lucky. In this satirical attack ad, a group calling itself Hockey Moms for Truth swift-boat Sarah Palin, calling into question her hockey-mom credentials ("only one of her kids even played hockey!" one member exclaims incredulously). Among their laundry list of grievances: Palin doesn't know the difference between icing and offsides; she slacked off when it came to driving carpools; and when it was her turn to bring the juice, she left it in the car for a true hockey mom to bring inside. What a diva.
