From live cable news broadcasts to e-mailed YouTube links, a look at the most unforgettable video from the 2008 campaign
Not "rock" as in music. "Rock" as in: the former senator from Alaska and Democratic Presidential primary candidate stares into a camera for over a minute, hurls a stone into a lake, and walks away. Bizarre yet entrancing, it's like a Zen poem in YouTube form. Gravel later described the video as representing the ripples of change. Or something like that. This is the closest I've come to being moved to vote for a candidate by a political spot. Mainly for fear that if I didn't, he might do something crazier.
