Mark Halperin's Final Campaign 2008 Report Cards
Mark Halperin grades the players in the 2008 presidential campaign and renders his verdict.
They pretty much ignored their constituents for days at a time, along with their Senate duties, to ride shotgun with their friend John, keeping him loose and feeling loved and respected. But their strong opinions, Borscht Belt/cornpone jokes and bumptious influence sometimes sent the campaign and the candidate off the rails.
Grade: B-
