Pro: His continued polemics (this year he called 9/11 a "suspect event" and gloated as the American economy sank), plus Iran's nuclear arsenal, still scare — or at least annoy — the West.

Con: What has he really done except rant? Plus, he's not even the most powerful person in Iran. That honor goes to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who really calls the foreign policy shots.
