John McCain
Pro: Though his campaign was near death last summer, and he's no darling of the conservative base, McCain still secured the Republican nomination. That concession speech sure was classy.

Con: My friends, why did he have to go so negative? And thank heavens he suspended his campaign to rescue the world economy, right?
