Phish: At the Roxy
I can't pretend to care about Phish any more than a Phish fan can pretend to care about personal hygiene. Hey-o! But everyone knows at least one person who loves this now-retired jam band, and for those hempy souls, no other gift will do this season. At the Roxy's eight discs were recorded 15 years ago in Atlanta during what connoisseurs claim is the band's greatest three-night run. For nonbelievers, disc five 60 consecutive minutes of exuberant jamming at least shows off the group's technical mastery.
