The Best of the Obama Inaugural Merchandise
Tuesday's presidential swearing in may be a historic, solemn occasion. But this is the U.S., which means that a lot of people are trying to make a buck off the big day. With that in mind, here's a buyer's guide to some of the notable Obama items for sale.
While the Smithsonian's Hope diamond is priceless, other Obama bling is for sale at affordable prices all over D.C. Glistening earrings, pendants, belt buckles, necklaces, cuff links and pins are emblazoned with red, white and blue in honor of Obama. Local designer Ann Hand pays tribute to the President-elect with this flashy crystal necklace, right, which is available at her two stores or online ($95; 4885 MacArthur Blvd. NW, 2900 M Street NW or www.annhand.com).
