Tuesday's presidential swearing in may be a historic, solemn occasion. But this is the U.S., which means that a lot of people are trying to make a buck off the big day. With that in mind, here's a buyer's guide to some of the notable Obama items for sale.
With a 30% chance of snow on Inauguration Day, a fuzzy blanket may be the most practical Obama souvenir buy. Quilters, knitters and embroiderers nationwide are paying tribute to the President-elect via handmade goods, which are available on eBay, Craigslist and other websites. But the official Inaugural blanket is this recycled-cotton one, right, approximately 69 in. by 69 in., which is perfectly suited for the chilly, tired patriot ($150; pic2009.inauguralcollectibles.com).
