In his first interview since taking office, Barack Obama sat down with Arab news channel Al-Arabiya to discuss, among other things, his readiness to extend a hand of diplomacy to Iran should the Islamic Nation be willing to "unclench its fist." Though Obama's approach stands in sharp contrast to George W. Bush's rhetoric, it wasn't enough to loosen Ahmadinejad up. In addition to demanding an apology for the "past bad acts and crimes committed against Iran," the Iranian President challenged Obama to live up to his promise of change by putting an "end to the U.S. military in the world."
