Between cocktail parties and wonky lunches, Davos actually made me smarter. Here are the nine big things I learned (and none have anything to do with skiing)

8. Jet Li Has a Foundation

The Chinese martial artist and film star had an epiphany when his family was almost swept away by the 2004 tsunami in the Maldives. He subsequently started the One Foundation, China's first mass charitable-giving organization. And he seldom missed a chance at Davos — in panel discussions, at parties, wherever — to talk it up.
