PRO: Fires, droughts, writers' strikes — the list of day-to-day dramas that Schwarzenegger has faced is staggering, and yet he never seemed ruffled. Meanwhile, his progressive environmental policies have endeared him to the left.

CON: His state is spectacularly broke. And his decision to take a cameo role in an upcoming Stallone flick makes you wonder if he's eyeing an exit from politics — and if he's seen any of Sly's recent work.
