PRO: Widely expected to become President of South Africa this spring, Zuma will inherit a country afflicted by widespread HIV and escalating crime.

CON: Although he was acquitted at his 2006 rape trail, Zuma is still dogged by accusations of corruption, and his recent attempts to crack down on a local political cartoonist have only furthered his bad rep.
