PRO: The Pakistani warlord is one of the resurgent Taliban's most powerful leaders, with ties to al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups. No wonder Obama was sending missiles into Mehsud's training camps two weeks after getting into office.

CON: He is widely believed to be responsible for the 2007 assassination of Benazir Bhutto.
