Suffering through any Michael Bolton song is bad enough. But having to suffer Bolton's overwrought version of the national anthem is doubly awful. What's worse, the curly-haired crooner had to rely on crib notes written on his hand to get through the 2003 ALCS at Fenway Park. The man has had eight Top 10 albums — he should have at least been able to remember the lyrics to one of the nation's most-familiar tunes.
