Style and Design 100 2009 Green Design 100 Gwangyo Power Station

MVRDV, Rotterdam

Unlike in South Korea's typical valley-based towns, where reduced ventilation creates smog, the concept here is to build green space upward, imitating patterns of hills and valleys. Each tower would drip with lushly planted terraces.
