The film: Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a cyborg assassin sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor, whose son will eventually lead an uprising against the machine overlords of a robot-controlled future.

The line: "I'll be back."

The setup: Spoken on several occasions by Schwarzenegger's Terminator. He wasn't lying — despite the film's goofy premise, the Terminator lived on in a TV series and three sequels, the latest of which, Terminator: Salvation, hits theaters on May 21.
