Top 10 Jay Leno Moments
Never fear Jay Leno isn't going anywhere. But as he leaves The Tonight Show to start in a new, earlier slot, here's a look back at 10 of the most memorable moments from his show.
My First Stalker
During a July 2006 taping of the show, Leno's interview with Colin Farrell was interrupted when an audience member stormed onstage. Dessarae Bradford threw her self-published book, Colin Farrell: A Dark Twisted Puppy, on Jay's desk before confronting the actor, who calmly escorted her to security. As Bradford was led out of the studio, she yelled, "I'll see you in court!" to which Farrell reportedly replied, "You're insane!" While waiting for filming to resume, Leno jokingly called for "a round of applause for NBC security," while Farrell apologized for "my first stalker." The Irish actor obtained a three-year restraining order against Bradford, which expires later this summer.
