For once the media wasn't entirely consumed by what Michelle Obama was wearing or how buff her arms looked in that sleeveless dress. But you kinda wish they had been. When the Obamas journeyed to Europe for the Group of 20 summit in April, their visit with Queen Elizabeth II was, of course, met with great anticipation. But no one expected a brief physical encounter to cause international pandemonium. Michelle touched the Queen! (Or did the Queen make the first move?) It was labeled everything from a breach of protocol to a warm gesture on both parts. The 82-year-old monarch seemed completely unfazed, while Michelle simply brushed the criticism off her toned shoulder.
