"I discovered at a very early age," says Jeff (Joel McHale), "that if I talked long enough, I could make anything right or wrong." His silver tongue couldn't save him, though, from being disbarred over the minor matter of an illegitimate college degree. So he enrolls at a community college with the goal of setting his undergraduate record right the only way he knows how: by lying. McHale (host of E!'s The Soup) is a satanic delight as this NBC sitcom's fast-talking slickster, who finds himself the center of an unlikely support group of students from his Spanish class. Chevy Chase stands out as Pierce, a pompous retiree who strikes up a contentious May-December bromance with Jeff. It's a promising comedy about a shallow man trying to make his life right, one bad deed at a time.
