A gutsy, determined individual fighting a giant corporation: director Steven Soderbergh nailed that true-life scenario in Erin Brockovich. Now he and screenwriter Scott Z. Burns, who worked on The Bourne Ultimatum and An Inconvenient Truth, take a loopier approach to the same material in this actual, if improbable, tale of an Archer Daniels Midlands executive who gave the feds juicy data on the company's price-fixing tactics while playing another risky game of his own. Jason Bourne himself, Matt Damon, is the bold, devious informant in a comedy thriller whose exclamation point tips the movie's tone. Expect wackiness! —Richard Corliss
