50 Things to See, Hear and Do This Fall
TIME's arts critics round up the fall's most anticipated movies, books, TV shows, albums and exhibits
When Michael Crichton died last fall, he left behind two unpublished novels. The first of them to come to light is Pirate Latitudes, set in 1665, a time when England owned Jamaica and Spain very badly wanted to own Jamaica. Film rights have already been snapped up by Steven Spielberg and David Koepp, the team that produced a little movie based on another Crichton novel called Jurassic Park.
